The food of Dehradun is highly nutritious and prepared with the huge amount of milk and butter the main dishes are Singodi, Kandalee ka Saag, Kumaoni Raita, Gahat ki Dal, Aloo ke Gutke, Sani Hui and much more; and in dessert, people love to have Jhangora ki Kheer, Bal Mithai and famous Arsa.
